An Idea vs. a Tool/Vehicle; a Ship vs. a Destination

Someone says: “I want to be a billionaire!” Another says: “I want to start a company!”

Question: Are these two statements one and the same? You want to start a company presumably to be successful, rich, or a billionaire. Right?

Since there are many different ways to achieve the billionaire status, I assume that starting a company is just a way, one of the tools, or a vehicle to get to such a destination.

Many claim that they want to start companies. Are you one of them? If you are, pause for a second and ask this: Are you clear on what you want? Do you want the vehicle or the destination? What is your ultimate goal?

And while you are at it, ask: Why do you want to be a billionaire?
